Well I've started off my last year of High School by transferring to another district. It has actually surprised me how easy its been to transition. I still miss seeing my best friend but we still hang out outside of school so all is not lost. I guess being a tad bit of a loner pays off, there's always someone who's to intrigued to pass you up. Either way things are going great, I've managed to get back into the groove of juggling responsibilities and crafting. Hopefully I'll be able to get everything together and ready for production. looks like I'm going to be getting a mannequin head for Christmas. I'm so glad I have a mother who is understanding and supportive. I feel some parents would be rather put off if their teen asked for such a thing over Saturday breakfast.
Currently scouting out tour dates for some of my favorite bands. I've found I'm utterly in love with Sick of Sarah. The lead singer is gorgeous!
Digging into a Walmart bag of scrap yarn balls is always a great way to get inspiration in my opinion. I've got some lovely golds that are just begging to be turned into somethings flowery and beautiful. Why is it I always get inspired to make summery bright things when the season's curling into winter? I guess I'll just have a lot in stock for next summer right?
well I'm off to work on some headbands in preparation for Hippy Headband Tuesdays, a weekly ritual at my new school. gotta love the school spirit!
